The idea and initiative to create social and entrepreneurial corporations was first announced by President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev on March 1, 2006 in his Address to the People of Kazakhstan "Strategy for Kazakhstan's entry into the top 50 most competitive countries in the world" and is supported by the Head of State and the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The Batys Social and Entrepreneurial Corporation was established by Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated September 17, 2007 No. 407 "On measures to establish and support the activities of the Kaspiy, Tobol and Batys Social and Entrepreneurial Corporations".
The main activity of SEC Aqjaiyq JSC is to promote the economic development of the West Kazakhstan region by consolidating the efforts of the public and private sectors.
The purpose of creating JSC SEC Aqjaiyq
The activity is based on the principle of a transparent corporate governance system, the principle of completeness – with balanced support for initiatives from both the private and public sectors of the economy and the principle of priority, which means preference for projects that reflect solutions to socially significant problems in the region.
