Regional board to attract investments and improve the investment climate
By the order of the akim of West Kazakhstan region No. 22-o dated January 15, 2016, the regional Council for attracting investments and improving the investment climate (hereinafter - the Regional Council) was established.
The regional Council works on improving the investment climate of the region, attracting investments and developing recommendations on issues related to the investment activities of local Executive bodies, industry business associations and large foreign companies.
At the end of 2018, 6 meetings of the Regional Council were held, as a result of which 12 investment projects totaling 38.7 billion tenge were considered and supported. 885 jobs were created.
For the 1st half of 2019, 2 meetings were held, following which 6 projects worth 31.8 billion tenge were considered and supported. More than 350 jobs have been created.
